3-point something stars for this place - that's a bunch a bunk! 5 stars - Joe's knows the Chicago favorites! The Italian Beef - great flavor aus jus! Great tender beef. The beef sandwich was excellent! I didn't have a dog today, but they're always a great dog. Joe's s a great place - and serves up some great food! Go to Joe's!!

I enjoyed a hot dog with cheese plus fries and onion rings. Top notch! I felt like I walked back in time when I placed my order - local owned for so many years!

Joe's Hot Dogs has been a staple in my life for literally my whole life. I have so many core memories of going here after school games, bar nights, random lunches, when anyone would visit, and basically in general. My dad has been going here his entire life and remembers fondly the founder and to this day our first stop when he comes to town is and always will be Joe's. The hotdogs are amazing, IYKYK, the onion rings, fries, Polish, even the chili is epic! The service is always fast and kind and the set-up inside and out gives almost a nostalgic feeling whenever you are there with the bold OPEN sign! I just love this place and for being the local gem that just keeps on giving. Support small business and please check out this rare yet legendary local hot dog stand!

Been waiting to visit for a while and finally got down this way- so glad I did! Love the old school vibe- 3rd generation places are a rarity and this place deserves to stay around for a long time! I didn't know what I wanted to try when I got there but fortunately one of their repeat customers was ordering in front of me and I just ordered what they were getting and I was not disappointed. If you are a hotdog fan be prepared -it is not your run-of-the-mill hotdog they've perfected their recipe a long time ago and it fits perfectly. Open your mind and be prepared to go back in time. Great value- chili cheese dog, generous fries and a can of pop for around $6. Yum Update 7/18/24 : Another great visit- Delicious and affordable! Love this place

I only give 5 stars to places that I have gone to more than 3 times with consistent quality of food I like. I grew up going to the Joes and when the crave hits they have not disappointed. For over 40 years. I ordered the chili polish with everything. Just as I remembered to calm the crave. Also have had the beef and darn good too. I do not know if the current hotdog is different than before. I remember liking them but prefer the polish. They taste like a higher quality dog to me.

My husband and I stopped at Joe's while we were in town and ordered the chili dog, hot dog with everything, large fry, large onion ring, tamale, and a side cup of cheese. Our food came fast, hot, and correct! Everything was so delicious. We loved the chili on the chili dog. Their hot dogs are so good! Their french fries are the thin ones and a must order. My husband and I enjoyed dipping the fries in our cheese. Onion rings were fried to perfection. The tamale was just okay. It was one you could get at the store in the frozen aisle. I would skip the tamale next time. The prices are fair, quality is great, and service was excellent! We would reccomend this local hot dog staple for sure!

Joe's is a Joliet institution! The Hot Dogs are phenomenal! My favorites are the Chili Dogs and the Chili Cheese Dogs, both 5 Star. Nothing Fancy just the Best in Joliet. Polish are Awesome as well. Service is Quick, Food is always fresh. I highly recommend if you are looking for some awesome, tasty food!

A classic hot dog stand on the near west side of Joliet. Nothing fancy, but a solid chili dog, huge "small" fries cooked perfectly and nice crispy onion rings. If you're nearby and need a quick lunch cooked to order, this is your place! Thanks, Joe!!

After passing this place up a few times, I finally decided on stopping here. Joe's is a staple of the Joliet community. This place has tons of parking. The parking lot looks brand spanking new too! There's no drive thru but it soley relies on foot traffic which they get tons of! With Covid going on. They take serious precautions! There's one way in, they got capacity limits, the guy is taking orders from the other side of the plastic divider as if your paying to bond someone out. The food is affordable! It's cheap! It's amazing! Best prices on Italian Beef! Would definitely come back.
